It seems like all of my friends are applying to a lot of different schools.  Is there any harm in applying to many schools (besides the cost of applications)?

    Amy,

There is no fault in applying to multiple schools (besides the fee, as you stated). Data has shown that students are applying to more school now (between 3-5) than in the past. So it’s good to apply to multiple schools to stay up with the times and spread your options.

The only downside to this though is if you get accepted to multiple schools. This will make the decision process much harder in which case you are going to have to weigh the pros and cons. If it comes to this I would see which school offers the best program at the most affordable price.

Thanks for your question and keep them coming!
